Our local Training Venue

We have our own purpose-built local training rooms set in almost two acres. The smaller training room is called the Milton Room with space for up to twelve students and adjoins the recreation room.

Our larger Training room is the Satir Room, set under mature Oak trees and seats up to thirty students.

 

 

We have lots of seating areas scattered around the garden so that you can practice the processes taught on the courses outdoors (weather permitting).

 

 

Our local Training Venue is located around 30 miles (48km) south of London, in the beautiful Ashdown Forest in East Sussex.

The Ashdown Forest is an ancient area of tranquil open health land, with outstanding views of the surrounding Sussex countryside and wildlife.  The forest is at the heart of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and was once a deer hunting forest in the Norman times.

Famously known by many as the ‘home’ of Winnie the Pooh, the Forest was the setting for A.A. Milne’s stories, who lived in the area and used to take his son, Christopher Robin, walking there.

For those wishing to stay a little longer and do some sightseeing, Tunbridge Wells, a beautiful town, is a little over 8 miles away where you will find a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes and regular events going on. There are regular trains and buses if you do not have a car.

 There are also several tourist attractions nearby including Hever Castle, Leeds Castle, Pooh Corner and Chartwell (home of Sir Winston Churchill).

 Both London and Brighton are within easy reach of the venue, by either car or public transport, where you will find an array of attractions to visit.

 Local Amenities

There are three supermarkets in Crowborough, including Waitrose, all are centrally located, with parking available. There are also a selection of high street stores to choose from to cater for everyday needs.

Crowborough has a range of public houses and coffee shops to choose from both centrally and in the surrounding area.
